Hot Take. I think being alterhuman is an absolute wonder that is marvelous and beautiful This awareness of the Self. All the vastly different experiences piled into this single community. Sure, we have our bad apples and gatekeepers, our spoiled rotten stains and things we don’t talk about, sure we have people misinterpreting our existence to despise and hate at us for simply being, daring to be different. Species dysphoria, homesickness, dealing with rejection from people that aren’t worth it. But I love what we have here, I love that we are aware and are ready to dive in, to discover. Or perhaps rediscover ourselves. It’s like a whole bunch of foreigners, mingle together in this equally strange land, and we find solace in each other, in knowing that we aren’t alone. And we all have so much of our personal culture to find, to share, and to have this diversity that came with us. It’s all the magic and myth turned real, it’s all the amazing stories and creation coming alive in person, it’s feeling the wild and sensing the nature that sings within us, down to the core of our very being. When you can, howl to the moon, indulge in that eon old recipe from your family of another world When you are able to, curl into a ball, crawl on fours, dress up as yourself, be not afraid to express who you are inside When you have the people, talk about yourself, share your incredible stories, and experiences that are extraordinary
